A graduation keepsake that outlasts the ceremony. Our Graduation Acrylic Plaque UV-prints your graduate's photo, school, degree, and graduation year onto 3mm acrylic with a clean, diploma-inspired layout. Ships on a wooden stand.
A graduation acrylic plaque - often called a commencement plaque - is a personalized photo award printed directly on crystal-clear acrylic. Unlike a framed photo, the picture, name, degree, and class year are UV-printed into one diploma-style design, so the whole milestone reads as a single piece. It stands upright on its wooden base with no wall mounting, which makes it a natural fit for a desk, a bookshelf, or the gift table at a graduation party. If you are still comparing formats, our graduation photo gift guide walks through plaques, crystals, and puzzles side by side.
Everything printed on the plaque comes from the details you enter on this page. The personalization form accepts:
The plaque comes in three sizes. The 8 x 6 in is the middle size: large enough that the name and degree line read clearly from across a desk, small enough to fit any bookshelf. Go smaller for a bedside or desk-corner keepsake, larger when the plaque will anchor a mantel or entryway shelf.
| Size | Footprint | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 6 x 4 in (15 x 10 cm) | Palm-sized | Nightstands, desk corners, smaller shelves |
| 8 x 6 in (20 x 15 cm) | Book-sized | Bookshelves, consoles, office desks |
| 10 x 8 in (25 x 20 cm) | Statement | Mantels, entryway consoles, above a desk |
Both formats mark the same milestone, so the choice comes down to how the gift will live. The acrylic plaque is the flat, diploma-style option: the photo, name, and degree read like an award, and the wooden stand keeps it upright on a shelf or desk. A 3D crystal presents the photo as a laser-engraved image inside glass - more sculpture than certificate. If the graduate has an office desk or a bookshelf to fill, the plaque's readable, framed-award format is usually the better fit; our graduation 3D crystal guide covers when the crystal makes more sense.
Commencement day itself is the classic moment - the plaque makes a strong gift-table centerpiece at the party afterward. It also fits the milestones around the ceremony: senior nights, white-coat ceremonies, dissertation defenses, nursing pinnings, first-job send-offs, and belated congratulations for the graduate you could not celebrate in person. Because every plaque is printed from your photo rather than a stock template, the same design works for a preschool cap-and-gown photo and a doctoral hood alike.
Each plaque is made to order. Manufacturing 3-5 business days; standard shipping 2-8; express at checkout. Ordering a week or more before the ceremony keeps standard shipping comfortable.
Designed and produced by the Giftenova team. Every plaque is inspected and gift-boxed before it ships.
A Milestone Worth Framing. More than decor, the Graduation Plaque turns the day your graduate crossed the stage into a piece they'll keep on a shelf for decades. A powerful choice for commencement, first-job celebrations, and any milestone that deserved the cap and gown.
Note: For the sharpest result, upload a high-resolution, well-lit photo; our guide on choosing the right photo covers resolution, lighting, and composition. Printed colors may vary slightly from screen. Keep the plaque out of persistent direct sunlight and wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth; no harsh cleaners on the acrylic finish.
Three sizes: 6 x 4 in (15 x 10 cm), 8 x 6 in (20 x 15 cm), and 10 x 8 in (25 x 20 cm). All are UV-printed on 3mm crystal-clear acrylic and ship on a wooden display stand.
Upload a photo of your graduate and add their name, graduation year, degree, and college, then pick a design layout on the product page. An optional QR code can open a URL you provide, such as a video message. We print exactly what you type, so double-check spelling and capitalization before ordering.
A high-resolution, well-lit photo with a clear subject and clean background prints sharpest. Cap-and-gown portraits, candid graduation shots, and studio photos all work well. See our photo resolution guide for how to check your image before ordering.
